Managing Director Andreas Markides said, 'since setting up Markides Associates in 2016, it has been the aspiration of the directors and founding shareholders that the company has a long-term succession plan that benefits everyone. The employee ownership trust will allow us to reward all our staff for their hard work and commitment to the future success of the business. To have become the team we have so quickly, and to be able to make this transition, makes me incredibly proud’.

Several of our staff have been elected to form the new board of trustees, including Annika Davis and Alex Scarratt.

The board will be responsible for guiding the business and representing all employees on the board. Annika Davies, a Transport Planner who has worked at Markides Associates for 3 years, said, 'I'm looking forward to being on the Trustee board and to represent the staff as the company enters into a new era. This will be a great challenge for myself and an opportunity for all our staff to be directly involved in the shaping of our company’s future.'
