Planning policy in the UK seeks to ensure that the most sustainable sites are allocated for future development; getting the transport solution right and articulating this in the right way is a key part of this process and will ensure that local planning authorities give the site due consideration.
We recognise that different sites will require different transport strategies; what works in an urban area is unlikely to be realistic for a more rural development site. We have extensive experience in promoting the transport aspects of strategic land and are currently advising on sites of all scales and sizes ranging from 100 homes within greenbelt to new urban extensions of over 5,000 new units.
