We are currently appointed across all phases of the Battersea Power Station site delivering a wide range of work to support one of the largest and most technically challenging redevelopment projects in the UK.
Our role on the project is wide ranging encompassing planning, design and operational management roles. (Matt Harris (Director) has worked on the project for over a decade, providing specialist advice that has helped:
- deliver the first privately funded extension of the London Underground with the Northern Line Extension with a new station sat within the site now open and fully operational.
- deliver a transport strategy that has allowed Phase 1 of the development (864 residential units with additional commercial and retail spaces) to be occupied whilst construction of the wider site continues to take place;
- support word class architects such as Wilkinson Eyre, Fosters + Partners and Gehry + Partners and LDA in delivering in their design vision for a range of special buildings and public spaces;
- devise a site wide strategy and design that enables 60,000sqm of retail, 50,000sqm of office and over 2,000 residential units (across the first three Phases) to operate efficiently.
- secure planning permission and onward planning consents for a wide range of transport related matters.
