A high-quality development in a highly accessible location, which looked beyond the site curtilage to deliver improvements to the public realm that included additional crossing provision, wider footways and improved soft landscaping, at the expense of a traffic lane, whilst not precluding the future delivery of Sutton town centre tram extension.
We worked well with LB Sutton officers and the wider project team to help inform the designs.
Following planning approval in March 2022, we continue to provide assistance with subsequent stopping up applications and S278 detailed highway designs.
